<p>Because the Mourvèdre grape is originally from the warm shores of the Mediterranean, it is heat-resistant and grows vigorously in our climate. Our small vineyard of less than one hectare is pruned to retain a large number of growth positions. This reduces the vines’ vegetative vigour and yields a balance between growth and fruiting.</p> <p>In vigour and yield, the 2016 growing season was more moderate than 2015. Warm, dry conditions during the summer led to an early harvest. The rosé fruit arrived in excellent condition at the winery.</p>
