Abadia de Acón is located in the small village of Castrillo de la Vega, about two hours north of Madrid in the high plateaus that form the headwaters of the Duero river. The Duero river extends from from Abadia de Acón in Ribera del Duero through some of the most notable viticultural areas of the Iberian peninsula: Toro, Rueda, Duoro, and finally Porto, Portugal.
Abadia de Acón wines are made from Tempranillo grapes grown on estate vineyards to ensure consistency and quality. Wines are made and matured in a modern cellar.
